Ghostbusters GBC

Extreme Ghostbusters was released in Europe for the Game Boy Color on April 2, 2001, by Light and Shadow Productions.

It was originally intended for multiple consoles. The playable characters are Eduardo Rivera, Roland Jackson, Garrett Miller, and Kylie Griffin. All levels begin with a mission report from Janine or Egon. In each level, the player must navigate a location in the city and arrest all the ghosts. There are over 20 levels.

Proton Canister - Powers the Proton Pack.
P.K.E. Meter - When used, an arrow appears above the selected Ghostbuster's head, pointing towards the nearest ghost.
Ghost Trap - In the introduction to some missions, the player is instructed to trap ghosts, but trapping ghosts is not mandatory to complete the level. When using the Ghost Trap, a second Ghostbuster (if not Kylie, who the player is currently controlling) will appear and drop the trap on the floor. The player and their partner must use the proton stream to guide the ghost into the trap and activate the trap to capture the ghost.
Slime - When used, the slime appears to protect the player from enemy ghosts.
