The Dexen GM8K-1 IPI Control Module is a high-performance replacement for Hearth and Home Technologies fireplace systems using the GM8K-1 or GM8K1-OC setup. Compatible with H3V valve systems and designed for use with Heatilator, Heat N Glo, and Quadra-Fire models, this unit replaces part numbers 2166-347 and 2166-307. This module provides 5-step flame modulation, thermostat support, and safety shut-off capabilities. It supports a 90-second ignition cycle with up to 3 automatic re-ignition attempts. If ignition fails, the system will enter volatile lockout mode. To reset, disconnect power for 10 seconds before restoring. Installation is simple and secure. The control module is designed for indoor fireplace integration and includes a 5.5-meter (approx. 16 ft) wall switch wire. It runs on either 4 AA batteries or a 6VDC transformer and features a plastic housing with a front-facing orientation for easy access.
